Long term positions are available in many cities across China. We offer employment at very reputable schools between kindergarten to university levels. Levels with the most need for foreign teachers are of junior and senior high levels. Coincidentally, this is the level where you will have the best options in terms of salary, benefits, and location.

Basic Applicant Requirements:

• 4 Year College Degree in Any Subject
• Tutoring or Teaching Experience
• References from Professional or Academic Sources
• Flexibility in Working in a Foreign Environment
• Native English Speakers

Applicants who possess a 4 year undergraduate degree are encouraged to apply regardless of major. Although formal teaching experiences are not necessary, applicants are required to have some form of tutoring experience under their belt. Formal or informal tutoring experiences are all considered, preferably occurring within the past 5 years. Two formal reference letters from past teachers or employers are also required with the application. These letters will help the school determine how likely a person will succeed in an international teaching community. Lastly, since the main instruction language used is English, it is imperative that teachers will offer their students correct pronunciation and grammar of the language. Luckily, knowledge of the Chinese is not a prerequisite to be considered.

Teaching Certifications are strongly encouraged by any applicant who have the time and means to obtain one. A TESOL/TEFL or a state sponsored teaching certificate will mean an applicant has the opportunity to teach in many desirable cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi’an, Guangzhou, just to name a few. Negotiation power for salary and benefits are greatly increased as well. For example, an applicant with a teaching certificate will likely be offered 1,000 RMB more per month than someone without one.

Salary and Benefits:

• Monthly Salary (Between 4,500 RMB – 10,000 RMB per month based on education and experience)
