Applying and securing a teaching position is simple and easy. We do all the negotiations to ensure that the best and most suitable position is presented to you. Essentially, all you have to do once we approve you into the program is to wait for good news of a position, and ensure the understanding of your position through the teaching contract. We are here every step of the way to answer questions regarding your teaching position, travel plans to and from China, cultural dissimilarities, and more.
Here’s How…
Once we receive all of your application materials, we are able to begin the placement process as follows:
1. WSIEA will complete your file in-house and conduct an initial review including reference and background checks.
2. If you pass the initial review stage, we will schedule and conduct an in-depth telephone interview with you. This is a good time to let us know if there are any special requests in the position, such as location, salary, student age group, etc.
3. Once admitted into the program, the your file will be recommended in depth to our placement office in China.
4. Our China office will contact various schools based on your qualifications, the availability of open positions at the time, and your special requests (if any). Our applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Therefore, it will greatly benefit applicants to completely submit their application materials sooner rather than later.
5. Once we receive offers from our partner schools, we will renegotiate on your behalf if we feel it is necessary. Once a suitable position is presented, which we feel is the best offer that you are entitled to after evaluating the contract comprehensively, we will present the contract to you through our U.S. office.
6. You then have the opportunity to fully understand the teaching contract.
7. Once you are satisfied, we make sure all parties have a fully signed document for their records.
8. Now that employment has been secured, it is time for you to start the Chinese Visa Process.
